Spending a night out dancing at night clubs and hanging out with friends can be a great way to relax and unwind. But you don't want to approach a night out at the clubs the same way you would if you were going out to dinner and a movie. Use the following tips to ensure that you have a great clubbing experience:
Have a Plan
Before heading out for the night, it is a good idea for you and your friends to have a plan and know where you want to go. Many clubs charge an admission fee, so make sure you know what the fee is and have funds available. If you are interested in booking a table in the VIP section of a club or want to arrange bottle service, make sure you contact the club in advance to set this up.
Dress to Impress
The atmosphere in a nightclub is totally different than work, school, or a wedding. When you're going clubbing you don't have to worry about looking super modest and you can go all out and show your personal style. Many women opt to wear sexy dresses to go clubbing-- it is a good idea to have several club dresses in your closet if you plan to visit clubs often.
A good rule of thumb is to highlight one feature when you're getting dressed for the club. If your dress is very short, try to be a bit more covered on top. Likewise, if your dress has a low, plunging neckline, make sure the length is a little longer. This will ensure that you look sexy but don't have to worry about revealing too much. Don't forget to have fun with your hair and make-up for your night out.
Arrange Transportation
Many people choose to consume alcoholic cocktails while at a night club -- if this is something that you and your friends plan to do, make sure you have transportation plans in advance. Either ensure that you have a designated driver or set aside money for a taxi home. If everyone will be riding together in the designated driver's vehicle, make sure you know where parking lots and parking garages are located since many night clubs in large cities don't have ample parking on-site.
Be Confident
A night at the clubs is a time for you to let your hair down and dance. Don't feel self-conscious or nervous -- just let yourself go and enjoy yourself, It doesn't matter if you're not an expert dancer, most other people are not either. Have fun with your friends and make great memories that you'll look back on for years to come.
